WELLNESS: Meditation for Leaders checklist
Here are 8 standard steps to help you relax and focus and get more productive through meditation and observing:
- Find a room where you can be completely alone for 15 minutes.
- Find a way to sit comfortably. No particular position is necessary.
- Pay attention to your breathing and feel how the cold air pours in and warm air pours out.
- Imagine a center deep down inside of you. This is the center of your consciousness.
- From this center, focus on your body. What is it that your body senses and feels at this moment Do this for approximately 5 minutes.
- Move on to the "world of feelings" and observe the feelings that come and go. Stay there for about 5 minutes.
- Move on to the "world of thoughts". Observe the directions and inner comments of the thoughts. Stay there for about 5 minutes.
- Return after approximately 15 minutes and reflect on the impressions. End the meditation by returning to the room. What can you see, hear, smell and feel
