A bill of lading is used in the shipment of goods.


  1. A bill of lading is also known as a BO
  2. The BOL is issued by a shipping compan
  3. The BOL is proof that the goods were received by the carrie
  4. The BOL can be considered a contract to ship the good
  5. The BOL is signed by both the shipper and the carrie
  6. When the goods are delivered, the receiving party will sign the BO
  7. BOL's for sea or air shipments are also called "waybills"
