SALES: Hiring sales staff checklist




Hiring the right sales staff can mean a big boost in the success of your business. Here are a few tips to finding the right crew:


  1. Collect resumes for two weeks prior to interview
  2. Ask for referrals from people in your field of interes
  3. Do a phone interview prior to in person interview to judge their phone etiquett
  4. Ask candidates for past sales success dat
  5. During interview pose mock situations and take note of their response
  6. Invite the current sales staff to conduct mini interviews and listen to their feedbac
  7. Invite candidates to participate in one full day of sales on a trial basi
  8. Ask new sales staff to invite their associates to interview at your compan
