PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Project Checklist checklist




Managing a project can be a complex task. By using a standard set of procedures, managing a project goes more smoothly.

  1. Set the Team, appoint project leader and select internal sponsor for the project
  2. Define the scope
  3. Defining tasks
  4. Defining stakeholders and their information requirements
  5. Draft a GANTT chart
  6. Consider using software tools like MS Projects or to hire external consultants which are accredited with e.g. PRINCE 2.
  7. Creating work groups
  8. Scheduling durations and project team and sponsor meetings and updates
  9. Remember post-project integration
  10. Monitoring progress
  11. Estimating costs
  12. Allocating resources
  13. After Action Review (ARR) / Evaluate performance
