The act of getting organized may seem simple, yet most of us lack the motivation to take charge of our time and space. Below is a list of simple tasks you can do to start getting organized in any aspect of your life.
- Use a day planner to budget your time
- Organize your space regularly
- Start and finish one major project at a time
- Physically put things back after you use them
- Combine similar activities, such as sending emails
- Make to do lists by day, week, month
- Visit your to do lists regularly and cross things off
- Delegate tasks to spouses, children, friends, coworkers
- Multitask on smaller projects and double your productivity
- Take time to relax between tasks
- Think about what you want to accomplish before doing it
