MISC: Household Improvements checklist




When considering a household improvement project use this list to help make the process easier.


  1. Measure carefull
  2. Take measurements with you each and every time you head to the stor
  3. Estimate project cost in it's entirety to see if it is affordabl
  4. Compare at least three prices before purchasing materials or choosing a servicing compan
  5. Plan carefully for downtime in water/utilites/electricit
  6. Have a worst case scenario pla
  7. Decide if you will do the work or hire it don
  8. Estimate and plan for the realistic amount of time it will take to finish the projec
  9. Talk to family and friends who have completed a similair project to get tips and inpu
