  1. Inform elaborately and often
  2. Be the first to reveal news
  3. Pre-empt speculation
  4. Don't pretend nothing is wrong
  5. Tell about negative aspects
  6. Admit possible mistakes
  7. Do not blame others
  8. Show respect and consideration for employees
  9. Show respect for those affected
  10. Deliver hope for a solution
