Holding a company meeting can be done efficiently and effectively if a
few simple steps are followed.
- Start the meeting with an ice breaker to warm people up and get their attention
- Vary how the meeting material is covered each time
- Invite guest speakers to the meeting
- Encourage employees to ask questions during the meeting
- Have the speaker repeat questions before answering them
- Set goals for the meeting
- Start on time and end on time
- Organize the meeting environment effectively
- Offer food to encourage attendance
- Use a microphone if the room is large
- Use lots of visual aids
- Make sure there are no technical difficulties before hand
- Invite individual departments to present
- Let everyone know the agenda at the beginning
