A management buyout is when a company's existing managers purchase the company from the current investors.

  2. MBOs often take place in order for the management team to stay in plac

  4. Management team often feels they can run the company better than the current investor
  5. MBOs do not happen ofte
  6. A valuation needs to be agreed on prior to buyou
  7. MBOs prevent other investors from buying company
