Starting a University program can be exciting and also overwhelming. Use these tips to help make starting a program easier.


  1. Research your professors before attending class
  2. Determine what classes you need to take and when
  3. Try to mix hard classes with easier ones so you are not overwhelmed
  4. Budget your time between attending class, studying, and your day to day life
  5. List out what you hope to accomplish by taking a university program
  6. Network with your fellow classmates
  7. Buy your books in advance if possible
  8. Tour the campus before classes start
  9. Find out where to park
  10. Realize that everyone is also new to the program
